Cultural Differences in a Global Society

Numer:
899

Economic, social and technological changes have created an ever-interconnected world. Societies are becoming increasingly multi-cultural whilst our contact with people from other parts of the world has been facilitated through information communication technology. Nevertheless, we are still connected to our regional and national cultures, which shape our attitudes and behaviour. This lecture looks at how we obtain our cultural identities and how they change through contact with other cultures.
